Scenario:
On the morning of the 23rd January 2025, the groundskeeper of a sports’ centre noticed that people had apparently been using their grassland area overnight. Upon inspection he noticed blood staining and bags of white powder. He subsequently called the police.
The police attended and observed multiple bloodstains. A BPA specialist was not available, so the police photographed the scene for subsequent analysis.
No information was available at the time of the photography as to who might have been present or what events might have occurred.

Scenario:
An alleged assault occurred on a bed located in the rear bedroom of 25 Key Street, Westwood.
The victim alleges that the offender attempted to smother her with a pillow and verbally threatened her. She fought back, and the offender fled.
She describes the offender as tall, bulky, and wearing a balaclava and a grey hoodie. She believes the voice sounded familiar and suspects it may have been that of a co-worker, Jeremy Homewood.
Jeremy Homewood has been interviewed by police, and his house was searched. A grey hoodie was located and seized.

Scenario:
At approximately 11:30 PM, a group of gate crashers, including Vincent Carr, entered a private event without invitation. Their behaviour was noted to be disruptive, and multiple guests reported them causing a disturbance.
Eliza Thornhill approached Vincent Carr and requested that he leave the event.
When Carr refused and continued to argue, Eliza insisted once more that he exit the premises. In response, Carr struck Eliza across the face, causing a visible injury to her lip and resulting in blood loss.
At this point, either Alexander Pierce or Richard Fox intervened in an attempt to stop the altercation. During the struggle, both Carr and the unknown (Pierce or Fox) partygoer became involved in a physical confrontation, and Carr was injured, requiring medical attention.
The other guest (Pierce or Fox) then attempted to separate the two men, but an additional altercation occurred between Pierce and Fox. It is unclear whose blood is on whose shirt; however, Vincent’s blood is presumed to be on the shirt of the individual who injured him, though this remains undetermined.

Scenario:
On the 28th of April 2025, the executor of the estate of the late Mr Jonathan Miles contacted Lyriq Data Systems Pty Ltd to request an investigation into a share transfer allegedly executed by MR Miles shortly before his death.
The transfer document, dated 17th April 2025, reflects the transfer of 2,500 ordinary shares to Ms Rachel K Bennett.
Mr. Miles passed away on 18th April 2025, and his estate was unaware of any such transaction.
The company holds only a scanned copy of a physical Share Transfer Form; the original physical document is no longer available for examination. This absence of the original form has added to the concerns raised by the estate regarding the document’s authenticity and execution.

Scenario:
Ms Jemima Ashwood reported ongoing harassment following the recent breakup of her relationship with Ryan Prescott. She alleges that she has been receiving anonymous phone calls at irregular hours and has observed suspicious activity behind her residence, which backs onto a public reserve.
Ms Ashwood stated that the harassment has occurred intermittently over the past two weeks. Reported incidents include:
Multiple instances of unknown person or persons observed watching her from the public reserve directly behind her backyard fence.
Police attended the address on 12 April 2025 and conducted a visual search of the adjacent reserve area. During the search, officers located two discarded aluminium drink cans and cigarette butts near the rear fence line of Ms Ashwood’s property.
Reference ten-print cards have been collected from Ryan Prescott (her ex-boyfriend) and two of his associates, Blake Hensley and Eric Landon.

Scenario:
On April 16, 2025, at approximately 8:30am, Emily Crawford arrived at the Midtown Police Station to report an incident that occurred on April 15, 2025, at her residence.
Crawford stated that at approximately 7:30pm on April 15, her boyfriend, Thomas Renner arrived for dinner. Crawford reported that her apartment maintains a “no shoes” policy and that Renner removed his shoes upon entry, remaining in his socks throughout the evening.
Crawford stated that both parties consumed alcohol over dinner, including a bottle of red wine. At approximately 10pm, a verbal argument began regarding the nature of Crawford’s communication with a third party. During the argument, Crawford accidentally knocked over a wine glass from the dining table, which fell to the floor and shattered.
Following this, Crawford stated that Renner approached her with what she described as “evil intent,” using aggressive body language and closing distance rapidly. A physical altercation occurred, during which Crawford reported that Renner made physical contact with her right arm, causing her to fall backward and sustain a laceration to her palm from the broken glass on the floor.
Crawford stated that Renner left the apartment immediately after the incident, slipping his shoes on as he left, without rendering aid or offering assistance.
Crawford did not notify emergency services at the time. She treated the injury herself and elected to report the incident the following morning.
This officer took a recorded statement and documented a visible laceration on the victim’s right palm as well as mild bruising to her right forearm.
A warrant was issued to search Renner’s house. Police arrived at 11:30am 16/04/2025 at Renner’s address and found clothes strewn around the bedroom, Renner’s socks were seized from beside the bed.
Renner stated he returned home at approximately 11.00pm undressing immediately and then went to bed, but denied any “evil intent’, intimidation or physical altercations.

Scenario:
Mary Collins and Lucas Wall grew up believing they were cousins, as their mothers were sisters.
After Mary’s parents died when she was young, Mary went to live with the Wall family.
Both Mary and Lucas understood that when Mr. and Mrs. Wall passed away, they intended to leave a significant sum of money to each of them.
Later in life, after Lucas’s mother passed away, it was revealed in her will that she had not left any money to Mary. Mr Wall then informed Mary that she had actually been adopted and was not biologically related to either Mrs. Wall or Lucas.
Mrs Wall had been ill for some time before her death, and both Mary and Lucas believed that the most recent version of her will, created during her illness, did not truly reflect her intentions. They suspect Mr Wall may have altered the will and had her sign it while she was not fully aware of what she was agreeing to.
Before contesting the will, Mary and Lucas wish to determine whether there is any biological relationship between them.

Scenario:
• Daniel MCKEAN has been accused of multiple instances of stalking and trespassing. It is alleged that he has followed multiple women from their places of employment to their homes.
• Police were alerted by one victim who became suspicious when she noticed MCKEAN sitting on a fence over the road from her house as she left for work one morning. She had previously noticed MCKEAN on multiple occasions outside her work, as he regularly sat at a nearby coffee shop with a sketch book and appeared agitated if anyone approached him.
• Noting similarities with other recent reports, police believe that MCKEAN may have been stalking at least four other women.
• A search was conducted at MCKEAN’s house. Various drawings and sketches were found, but none that appeared to have any links to any known victims.
• While conducting the search, officers found a hard disk drive under the couch that MCKEAN was sitting on for most of the search. MCKEAN became immediately flustered as officers began searching the couch but claimed to have never seen the hard drive before when the drive was discovered.

Scenario:
On the 14th of July 2025, around 6:15pm, homeowner John Taylor returned to his residence to find the front portion of his house on fire. The blaze, mainly affecting the entryway, living room, and hallway closet, was contained within 30 minutes. All clothing in the hallway closet was destroyed.
Scene investigation suggested the point of origin of the fire to be in front of the closet, where a burned beanie was found. Burn patterns in the hall carpet suggested that an accelerant was poured in the vicinity. Taylor’s statement does not indicate any reason to suspect an accidental cause of the fire. His statement indicates that a person of interest is Greg Dawson, a rival in the auto detailing business who has recently had business conflicts with Taylor. A warrant was issued for Dawson’s residence; police recovered a pair of socks that gave off a strong chemical odour.

Scenario:
Samantha Hall alleges that at approximately 2am on the 10th of August 2025, she was sexually assaulted by Daniel Moore and Kevin Harris. Both Moore and Harris were known to her.
At approximately 9am on the 10th, Samantha Hall and her boyfriend, Paul Wright, who was not present during the alleged assault, went to the hospital and medical samples were taken.
Samantha alleges that Daniel Moore and Kevin Harris penetrated her, and one of the offenders sucked her breast.
